About Us

Vikalp Bharat Consultancy was founded in April 2024 with a simple yet powerful objective – to support Housing Co-operative Societies in building stronger governance, financial stability, and efficient operational systems.

Our journey began through firsthand experience. As a resident of a newly handed-over housing society, we witnessed the numerous challenges faced by the Provisional Managing Committee (PMC) during the transition from builder management to resident-led administration. Like many societies, there was a shortage of active volunteers willing to take on the responsibilities required to establish and manage the society effectively. Recognizing the need for support, we actively contributed as a workforce member, working closely with the Chairperson and committee members across various operational and administrative functions.

Over time, our involvement deepened, particularly in the areas of maintenance management and financial planning. As operational expenses increased and society funds began to diminish, it became evident that structured financial discipline and long-term planning were essential for the society’s sustainability. Following the formation of the Managing Committee, we were entrusted with the responsibility of Treasurer, a role that provided valuable hands-on experience in managing society finances, budgeting, maintenance collections, statutory compliance, vendor payments, audits, building corpus fund and much more.

Over the past four years, we have successfully navigated the challenges of fund deficits, implemented systematic financial controls, strengthened reserves, and ensured that all processes were carried out within the framework of applicable laws, bye-laws, and statutory requirements. This practical experience has given us a deep understanding of the realities faced by committee members who volunteer their time and effort for the betterment of their communities.

We strongly believe that Managing Committee members, Chairpersons, Secretaries, and Treasurers perform a demanding and often thankless role. While residents naturally expect efficient services and accountability, the responsibility of keeping society operations running smoothly rests on a handful of dedicated volunteers. The lack of active participation, increasing compliance requirements, financial pressures, and operational complexities can often overwhelm even the most committed committees.

Vikalp Bharat Consultancy was established to bridge this gap. Our mission is to provide practical, professional, and dependable support to Housing Co-operative Societies in the areas of financial management, maintenance operations, governance, compliance, and process improvement. Our vision is to build a trusted consulting and audit organization that empowers housing societies with the knowledge, systems, and expertise required to achieve long-term sustainability, transparency, and operational excellence.
